Here is my gorgeous hotel room in St Johns! Arrived about 1am Canada time which means I was travelling for 24 hours exactly! Mark Jones met me at the airport & we got a taxi to the hotel with this really cool taxi driver who gave us a detailed history & guided tour as we drove to the hotel. It's so nice when people are so enthusiastic about their city! So I got to the hotel and everyone was in the foyer having drinks and gave me a lovely welcome when I arrived. The hotel room is Gorgeous however when I finally got to my bed at 3am (about 7am uk time) there was a small used pillow under the covers with 6 small black hairs on it so I phoned reception and complained and said this was absolutely unacceptable however because it's so late I'll just sleep in the bed anyway as I am so tired after my 24 hour journey. Apart from that the hotel is lovely and has a swimming pool..woo hooXx
