Today, my family and I took a trip to the newly built "peace bridge" near Prince's island park. It was my first time going there! What a beautiful sight! The soothing wind, gentle rustle of the trees, and the swaying waters were just some sounds within the surrounding, all keynotes and sound marks of the scenery. People laughing, running by and the bikers ripping fast or striking their bell were some sounds that attracted attention. Other sounds like people walking, birds chirping and ducks quaking were just some examples of Lo- fi sounds that were lost in the surrounding. It was definitely a worth while trip to go downtown and witness a new addition to the beautiful view of downtown Calgary.
