Today we took the kids to the Palace of Versailles. We have some lovely photos of the amazing building and gardens.

The kids didn't like the Palace and especially the crowds. They couldn't wait to get out of the gilded rooms, painted ceilings and opulent furniture.

We then had a lovely lunch in the restaurant in the Palace Gardens. The men's toilet there had some butterfly stickers on the wall. Harvey turns to me as he sits down and says 'Dad, this is the most beautiful room I have ever seen'

This is a photo of the room which, in Harvey's mind, is more beautiful than King Louis XIV the Sun King's entire Palace.
