We jumped in a taxi and headed 45 minutes to Danang...
We checked into our hotel (which smelt a little :/ ) and then got a taxi to Marble mountain. I had no idea what was there and thought I would take my chances with it, we were pleasantly surprised… except for the fact I actually climbed a mountain (I wasn't greatly impressed at the time, it almost killed me) Lee on the other hand thought it was fab, especially when we wondered into a cave and a small Vietnamese woman followed us in with a torch and sent us through a tiny hole in the wall which was as close to potholing I will ever get… then she offered to take some photos for us. We both know she was going to ask for money, and sure enough she did. As she had been so kind we felt obliged. The mountain had a surprising amount of things to see on it… lots of caves with Buddha's in them, a beautiful Chinese type building, and a fair few view points at the peaks.
Afterwards we went for lunch then back to the hotel. We booked a flight for tomorrow morning to Hanoi (it was either a 16 hour train trip or fly, and seeing as the flight cost only a few pounds more… flying it is).
We then went on a hunt for a KFC… which we found in a very busy shopping centre! We got stared at, yet again, in fact it was actually off putting, especially when we were eating.
Next stop, Hanoi :)
