Today is out last day on Ko Chang. The girl staying next door had told us about a swimming pool nearby, so we tried to find that but had no luck and we're getting a bit hot so gave up! Instead we spent the day chilling around our bungalow making sure everything is sorted for tomorrow morning when we leave. Ko Chang was a last minute addition to our travel plans but we are both glad we came here as we have loved it here!

There isn't really much to write about our time on Ko Chang. We have spent the days on the beach and then our evenings in a bar watching fire shows and waiting for the 9.30 free vodka bucket! We had thought about renting a bike to explore some of the island but we are actually both enjoying having some time not having to do anything! Once there we went to the bike shop recommended by our guesthouse and rented two bicycles. We spent a few hours riding around the historical park and some of the ruins on the outskirts. It was really a really lovely place just to ride our bikes around and take in the scenery. As we had got there early we were getting a bit hot and cycled out...
We started our journey back towards Bangkok yesterday with a bus to Chiang Mai. This only took 3 hours again, which wasn't too bad! We had hoped to do something with another day in Chiang Mai, but instead got our bus tickets to Sukhothai and slept! We were going to turn up at the bus station and get our tickets on the day, but ended up getting them for a little bit more from a tour office in town. It was worth it though, as we had been planning to get to the bus ...
