hey again,

soooo... we left you guys at surfers and from there we went to Brisbane. spent three nights there and we had a fab time coz we were ready for some city life again after being in byron and surfers. highlight of this part was definately the oz zoo/steve irwin's zoo, although at the same time it's quite sad coz there's loads of steve irwin everywhere :( got some cool pics with kangaroos etc..which we'll put up soon! went to another open air cinema, not as good as melbourne (not as pretty!) but cool all the same. did the usual city walks, it's a beautiful city based on a river with a man made beach in the middle which is quite random!

following Brisbane we went to a place called Noosa which brings us back to the beach again! it's a gorgeous little town where the upper class aussie's go on their hols (not like surfers paradise!). thought we'd get a bit energetic here instead of just lounging on the beach! we rented bikes for a day and saw the entire town and more which was pretty tough on the old behind! did try to go kayaking but coz of the weather it was called off so we went on a long walk instead! seeing as it was such a beautifull place we decided to treat ourselves to a lovely meal, we had prawns and steak..yummo!

that brings us to where we are now which is rainbow beach and getting ready to go on our fraser island trip. it's a three day self drive (4 x 4) trip on the worlds largest sand island. we met our group today (10 ppl) and they're a good bunch so we're excited about tomorrow (apart from the fact that we can't shower for three days and have to dig holes to go to the toilet!!).

ok folks, that's it for now. we'll prob come back to you when we've done our whitsundays trip (sailing) at the start of feb with some cool piccies! and also it will have been lau's b'day too so we're looking forward to that (please send money! lol!).
