Wooooooo, we're in Vietnam!! The coach was long but it got us out of Cambodia so am happy :-)

Already it's alot better here! Our coach dropped us off near the main backpacker but so we had a slow walk around and found our hotel, An An 2. It was right next to a really good bar so we didnt have far to go for food and drinks.

We organised our transport for the next night to take us up to na trang and also a trip to the tunnels, which was where all the vietnam people used to hide in during the war. Met a couple of guys out, had a few drinks with them and then went for some food. They stoped at this tiny dirty local place and had the most disgusting sea food! I had a bit of crap, but the stuff they were eating was rank! One bit actually looked like a willy! gross! Got a bag of crisps on the way home, and they had crunch chocolate, the best choc ever! Was pretty crap over here though.

The next day we went to the tunnels and killing fields. Watched a video about the war and that then went on a tour around the place, seeing examples of the traps that were used. They had one of the tunnels which we could go down if we wanted, but it was tiny, dark, and went underground 6meters! Sod that! Got to shoot a gun, which I've wanted to do for aaaaages! Was an AK47 :D Was deaf for quite a while and a bruise came up on my shoulder straight away, but wel worth it!

After this we went back to the hotel, got a lush choc milkshake from a proper american franchise coffee shop, (we dont drink local milk!) and then got our coach to Na Trang. It was a sleeper coach so we had beds, but we were at the back where there's 5 in a row. The Vietnam guy said we were the only ones on the back though, so lots of space for us! :-)

But.....he lied! At about half 1 in the morning the bus stopped and these really smelly french guys got on. They smelt so bad, was horrible! And the one next to me kept trying to spoon me, so i gave him a dig in the ribs. Got to Na Trang at 7.15am knackered and hating the french!
