The day I nearly died on a boat (kinda)

Today we wanted to go to the floating market, so we got a tuk tuk there (so we thought) to turn up at this random place with boats. Found out the floating market was only on in the mornings so we decided to go for this boat ride.....what a con!!! When we arrived there was a big old ship, all fancy looking, so there's me thinking we'd be going on that..........oh no no no........we had to walk through the boat, out the other side, to a frigin tiny little boat thingy!

Nearly fell in the water getting in the bloody boat, then spent half the time screaming coz of the splashing! Finally we got to this little river bit which was alot calmer (thank god) and went through that for nearly an hour. Was so strange, there were all these homes on the river, and there's be a tiny little wooden hut next to a massive palace....strange. The poverty was really bad, i cant believe how some people live, but it was a good eye opener to how the Thai people live.

A woman in an even smaller boat than ours came along to try and sell us bits, cant believe thats her job! Sod that!

After going round went back to the big boat on the choppy water and got our tuk tuk back to the hotel. Then had a snooze, went for some dinner and got some more mac make up, and now having an early night ready for out 7am start tomorrow to go to the floating market......more water/boats....great!
