I had a whole post written out, but when I submitted it, it just logged me out and didn't submit, due to laziness I'm just gonna give a quick recap of time in New York.
Our hotel wasn't far from Times Square and Broadway. On the first day, we did a fair amount of shopping (Mum, Dad, just so you know, there's a box on it's way home) before meeting up with some of Lauras friends that she worked with in Japan.
After we left them, we went up to the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building. The view from the top makes the rest of the skyscrapers around NY look small, that just makes Adelaide look like a tiny little ant farm.
Tuesday night we saw Wicked on Broadway, Wednesday night we saw Chicago. Wicked was awesome, of the three musicals we've seen on this trip, it takes first place (Les Mis takes second, Chicago third) Chicago was pretty good, but Wicked was much better.
On our final day in NY, we went took a ride on the Staten Island ferry for views of the Statue of Liberty. Later we went to Ground Zero, the former site of the Twin Towers. The whole area was closed off with construction, but you could still see where the two buildings once stood. Kinda eery.
((my mobile doesn't seem to work here, so if anyone wants to contact me, you can email me or post a message here. I did buy an American mobile, if you want the number, let me know))

Dad Your box from Europe still hasn't arrived. It's either still in-transit or stuck in the Hallett Cove PO. The view from the Empire State is excellent even though it was crowded.
