Welcome to my adventures! Travel blog revival - this time, Central America with Paddy the boyfriend. We were in Guatemala for a week, and are currently in El Salvador with a possible stop in a bar in Honduras during a football match so I can wave my Swiss flag about a bit.
I'll be staying in touch with whoever reads this while we're out and about. Leave me messages!
Enjoy!

Salut ma belle!
Thank you for your text message. What a laugh! Wanted to get back to you but the phone didn't stop ringing last night...so it was a little late to answer your last text.
Have you had any amazing curries yet?? remember if you can get on a cookery course..I'll happily pay you for a second hand course!
Guess what? It's still raining here...another storm last night and it is still raining as I write to you. Went up 'our' mountain this morning and there have a few little landslides on our path! The steps were loaded with debris from the mountain.
Enjoy the rest of your stay in Mumbai, only 4 more sleeps to go???
Have fun!
Love

I was talking to dad on Sunday and he said that by today, Tuesday, you would be in Mumbai (Bombay to me). There will be quite a different ambience there from Vietnam. So, I hope you'll complete your account of this spendid odyssey with your views about India & the Indians.
I've greatly enjoyed following your journey through the Blog and the maps and photographs, almost make it feel as though I had been there myself.
Looking forward to seeing you in August,
love Grandma

Hi there!
Missing having you around in HKG, shopping not the same without you! Typhoon Fengshen turned Tropical Storm hit us on Tuesday night and it still hasn't stopped raining since. Guess the 6 continuous days of sunshine and intense heat was the price to pay... Enjoyed reading your latest entry, it's almost like having you ...a good giggle. Make the most of your time in Vietnam - it's sounds bril! x
"Uncle" Philip
Hi Laura, great to catch up with your "explorations"! Considering all what's happening to you and the lovely way you write about it, I think you should plan to edit a book and deliver some conferences about how to survive "in the wild"! Sorry to hear about the theft... but luckily you're well insured... thank you who? Regards from the entire RICHARD's family! Take care and enjoy the rest of your amazing trip. Philip

The Thai cooking course sounds great. I can't wait for you to demonstrate your new skills. Remember I told Mum that when I retire I'm going on a cooking course in Tuscany? Well, maybe I'd better start re-thinking my plans...
I agree with Emma B that your posts are really great (and it's not just because you're my daughter). BTW, Emmlette, those Laplace transformations sound pretty exciting too...
Keep on truckin'

What a girl ! I read your blog yesterday and kept being told I'd not addressed my message properly but did the same today and here it is. The competence, courage and humour of the way you're whizzing about these places is astonishing. So the next news probably will be from Thailand. I look forward to that.
Odile
Hey, Pips... Grandma sent me a message because she could not post a message today, and was asking for help, so I am trying... Keep on posting stuff, we really enjoy this!

Hello travelling beauty! In her first message, Odile mentionned that "cousins" were asking about you: so here I am your "3rd cousin" (or first cousin twice removed, or whatever...!) checking out your travel blog and enjoying it very much. Keep on the good job, we'll be following "virtually" your footsteps! In the mean time, take care of yourself and keep enjoying your wonderful trip. @ Swiss kisses
