Ok. So since Sydney we have done a big loop and visited basically everywhere. Travelled to Melbourne for 2 days and went on the Neighbours tour, v exciting and now know all the goss which I'm finding hard to keep in! Stayed in a place called St. Kilda which is right on the beach and really really lovely. Went to a full moon party that night as it was full moon party time in Koh Phangan and apparently they do it in Melbourne too! Got a flight up to Cairns the next day where we did a great tour of the Tablelands rainforest. I swam under Peter Andre's "Mysterious Girl" waterfall and got chased by an emu, all v exciting! We then went off to the Great Barrier Reef and snorkelled for a day, wasn't too impressed, Ko Phi Phi was much better,but the day was fab. After that, travelled down to Airlie Beach where we did the Whitsundays, stayed on a sailing boat for 2 nights and saw the most beautiful beaches. Plus some great snorkelling, saw fishes as big as me! Then onto Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach...amazing - largest sand island in the world and you're in groups of 11 driving some huge 4wd through these sand dunes and along beach highways. so much fun, even the camping aspect which i am a bit new to...! met some great people and met up with them in brisbane last night. now in byron bay so going to go and soak up the sun now -maybe for the last time as not sure about the weather in NZ :S heading there on tuesday after sydney and the blue mountains over the weekend. having so much fun and seeing so many amazing things, will have to show you all the photos as writing it down doesnt really describe it in any way. definite 11 / 10.
