Our hostel in Noosa was also a great location, just a 5 minute walk from Sunshine beach, so that's where we went for the day! There was a 3 hour coastal walk we could have done but someone told us it's really hilly and we are getting quite sick of walking all the time, especially in 30 degree sun and uphill!! So we were lazy and just lay on the beach all day instead! Therefore we didn't explore much of Noosa at all, but from the small amount we did see it seems like a lovely place. There are some beautiful houses along the beach and lots of nice little cafés and restaurants around the area we were staying. Someone told me Noosa is a popular holiday destination for wealthy Australians. It definitely had a holiday town feel to it.
