I'm into my second week of placement and I'm really enjoying it. It barely even feels like work! I sat in on my first fitting today for a bridal dress- the woman is wearing just fine lace over her top half with her bra showing through so she's got some guts considering it's her wedding day! I've been in Sydney nearly a week now but it's still sinking in that I'm back here after 8 years. Obviously everything is different this time round but I didn't expect it to be the same anyway. I see everything differently now. I started my placement today which was great; it's a small team with a good atmosphere to work in and I think I'll learn a lot from it. The dresses Souraya makes are beautiful!
