We both woke up this morning feeling rather crap. Dodge throat and all.... hopefully not a Swine Flu symptom?? :)
Anyways only 3 full days left so we were determined not to waste anytime. Slapped on the sunscreen and off we went walking through Central Park. The whole of Manhattan's roads are on a grid system. Central Park was built purposely with curved paths and roads as the idea is they want you to get lost.
We walked all the way through which was nice and relaxing. The park was quite busy. Then onto Fifth Avenue. Filled with all the big stores including of course Saks. So many people, mostly tourists.
Stopped at a great cafe we found yesterday. Got a huge salad to share. Great to have healthy food... and possibly the best salad ever. Went back to Grand Central Station and the Public Library so Laura could take some pics. Spectacular places, both of them.
Back to Times Square but didnt stay for to long.
by the time we got back to the hostel we were so tired! So much walking! We congratulated ourselves with Pizza slices... and what huge pizza slices :)
