We had to follow up on Stephen Foster. On a past road trip, we went to see the live outdoor performance of the Stephen Foster Story in Bardstown, KY! We highly recommend this (as a sidenote)! Stephen Foster wrote My Old Kentucky Home which is significant in our family because my parents, myself, Scott and his entire family all claim Kentucky as our place of birth. Stephen Foster also wrote Oh Susanna! Stephen was actually from Pittsburgh. He is the beautiful metal statue that is across from the building build in his memory; it houses a theatre for the University of Pittsburgh.
