From Singapore we flew into Cairns for a couple of days - we went to find the lagoon which consisted of a man-made beach but when you looked at the beach you realised why there was a man-made one at the side!

We decided to book a Great Barrier Reef Trip for the next day - we were really lucky with the trip as got to go to some of the best islands. The westher a few days previously had been horrible and made the water go murky but we did the trip on the best day as the water had cleared up. We went snorkeling in 3 different islands - we saw loads of different fish and even a few sharks, but lucky they were far away from us!
