Hi everyone, we arrived safely in bangkok on saturday, 3pm local time. We checked into our hotel after getting a taxi from the airport and experiencing the crazy thai driving for the first time. We then headed out to china town for a while before deciding to go back to the hotel for an early night! Then today we did some sight seeing around bangkok in a tuk tuk and saw some temples and the grand palace. Bangkok was all in all an experience! It was smelly and a bit scary and we were glad to only be there 1 night, however we are glad we saw it and some of the temples were pretty spectacular! We then headed down to pattaya, a beach resort. We have had a walk around an in the next few days we are going to head out to a couple of islands for some nice beaches as the ones in pattaya aren't all that great! We also plan to go to tiger zoo and also on an elephant trek. Hope all is well at home. Our next blog will probably come from oz!
