The lunchtime slow cooker hadn't been slow enough overnight, causing the whole restaurant to smell of burnt steak when Allen had got in this morning, so while I was opening the restaurant he was spraying about 3 cans of air freshener around, and getting Fernando (lunchtime head chef) to walk around with pans of garlic and onions.
