Last day in India! Woke up feeling almost human. Ate breakfast, more bread and rice. So sick of carbs. I'm on a seriously restricted diet for a couple more days. Went back to bed, woke up very sick, went back to bed. Around noon I felt ok so I went for a walk, broke into a horrible dizzying fever adn tried to go home. Ended up doing a tiny bit of shopping but my negotiating was bad thanks to my sweaty state of delirium. At the end of my last negotiation the guy asked what I thought of the "deal". I responded "I think you're lucky I'm too sick to argue" and walked out.
Went back to bed after a quick shower. Woke up around 4:00, caught up on the cricket scores and went down to meet the bus. We drove to Leela Palace for our final farewell dinner. I ate bread and veggie soup broth, boring but delicious. Dinner was a great chance to catch up with everyone as a lot of people had been asking about how I was feeling. Our tour coordinator, Michal, asked how I was doing for the first time ever! She seemed shocked to hear I had an infection which annoyed me, isn't it her job to know if I'm ok!!!!!!
After that we headed to the airport to catch our 11:50pm flight back to Singapore.
I was in a full row of people in seats that didn't recline. The girls with me were some lovely Aussie girls so we got to chatting. They were upset that their seats didn't recline so I found them two seats together that did and promptly got the whole row to myself, so i laid down across them all and had a nap.
