What a beautiful sunny day! First we walked over London Bridge and saw Big Ben. Then, we went to Westminster Abbey, the anti-climactic changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, and China town (where Rocío got a red bean-filled moon pie). We saw Trafalgar Square and St. Martin-in-the-Fields. We finally found Tate Britain where we saw some beautiful paintings from the 1800s as well as some modern knitted (?) "art" paintings. We're here! Wifi is free but computers are not. Therefore messages will be relatively short since we are typing on an iPod touch. We feel like we're in Harry Potter when we walk down the street. We bought an oyster card to ride the tube! (weird sentence, huh?) We're going to finish the beer bread that we smuggled in and are going to wander the streets near our hostel. Then we are going to go to bed early due to the lack of comfort on the airplane.

We're in the PDX airport. Luckily Constanza isn't traveling alone or else she would be waiting for quite a while for her plane at gate D3...Rocío decided they should wait at gate D8 so we could get to London in our lifetime. Constanza's bag weighed 21 lbs and Rocío's was 16... There's a big bird outside.
