Today was one of the most expensive days on the trip.
First, we woke up leisurely and went to the Chagall museum. The tickets were 7.50 each! The guide book lied and told us it would be free. Let's hope Rick Steve doesn't meet is anytime soon. We were at the museum for an hour despite there only being only 30 or so. paintings. Why did we take so long? No, not because Rocio was flirting with younger, foreign men again. It was because we watched a film about the artist that was about 52 minutes long. I insisted we stay if we were going to pay that much for the supposedly free entrance. Unfortunately, I am too stubborn for my own good, as the sunburning experience of yesterday should have proven to me. Yup, we stayed and watched a 52 minute movie...in French. Do Rocio or I speack French? No. Were both sisters awake for the movie? Debatable. How is it debatable? Well, one sister would argue her eyelids were just really heavy for those last 50 minutes, the last 50 mintues after the first 2 introduction credits.
After that lively museum, we went to a movie we've been having our eyes on since London. It is a BBC film, meaning it has the strange humor of the British. Overall an entertaining movie luckily since it was a part of what made today expensive. That and the fact that we both got gelatos today. : )
What did we do after the movie? Beach!
Hey readers, ask me what Rocio had for dinner last night and today! Don't know? Muesli and yogurt!
Me? Well, you know how I've been craving cold beverages? Yup, that's what I have for dinner. A cold drink of my choosing! (Don't worry, I still have some kind of solid food too) Problem: I have to pee really bad in the middle of the night but am too stubborn to get up.
