Today was a busy day.
.
Started off by renting a 2012 white Mustang convertible (awesome) and driving toward the oldest geocache in Hawaii (GC23)...took 35 miles and lots of backtracking to find the trailhead which was in reality only 5 miles from our hotel! The extra miles were worth the effort...drove through an awesome tunnel through the volcanic mountain.
.
Headed to the north shore of Oahu, stopped at the biggest plantation in the world (Dole), at a beach with Green Sea Turtles, at a site where they filmed the Banyan Tree sequences from "Lost", passed by the Bonzai Pipeline (surfers), stopped for eats at the Turtle Bay Resort (swanky), and then followed the coast road back to Waikiki....and a bunch of other stuff.
.
After returning the Mustang :( it was off to a few more local pubs. :)
.
Hoping for golf tomorrow.
