I know it has been a week since you heard from me last but we have been walking day and night, and trying to enjoy the sights as we continued on our way. We left Madrid on Sunday heading for Pamplona.
The city of Pamplona heard a group from the CNIB was coming and arranged a special celebration. Pamplona is famous for their Festival of Fermin that happens every July. It is during this festival that people from far and wide come to participate in the "Running of the Bulls". Since we have arrived a bit early for that event they have decided to have a "Modified Running of the Bulls". They promise to use only blind or partially bulls in the run. Maybe we will have a chance but I am not going to sit still and find out. I am going to be running as fast as I can. This will definitely put extra steps on the pedometer and get the adrenaline elevated in our systems for the days to come. Luckily Deb, Theresa, and Trevor have prepared everyone by taking us through the route first. Yay for the Orientation and Mobility Instructors!
Once we get the official steps in I will give you more specific information related to where we have been able to walk to on the map of Spain.
