hey folks
berlin was awesome. I think we'd both agree that Munich was better though. The first day we were here we went to the Sony center which is a big plaza just off of potsdamer platz. We actually ended up stopping at an Imax theatre to see Indiana Jones which is kind of wierd because you don't usually travel the world and then take 2 and a half hours out of your trip to do something you can do at home. Anyways it wasnt very good and I would say dont waste your money to go see it. Its written by George Lucas so you can imagine what kind of wierd spins he could put in the movie. If you wanna see a good harrison ford movie though i reccomend renting air force one;) anyways the day after we did a free walking tour which was super cool. Berlin and Munich are sweet just because it's all so recent history. The war destroyed both towns when only our grandparents we're growing up and our parents grew up in the cold war so its kind of a wierd feeling when your walking around and everything here is only like 60 years old. Yesterday we went to the zoo and that was awesome. I have some great pictures. Anyways we're headed to amsterdam today and probably wont get there in time to see the metallica concert so that kind of sucks. Im sure they'll make the trip to vancouver some time soon though but it just wont be in an atmosphere of 60 000 people. Anyways thats it I probably wont write back until after amsterdam so goodbye. O and I just read Luc Bourdon passed away and I wanted to cry thats just crazy stuff. He was only 21 and had such a future in front of him. Boy its pretty tragic. Anywho goodbye.
Love
Jordan and Chris
