Well back in Melbourne at last, just chilling and sorting stuff out before I leave again, probably for Adelaide. To finish off my adventures in Tassie I visited the nearest beach to John and Lisa's house on Monday, went on a boat cruise around Hobart on Tuesday and then went to the tip with John on Wednesday(!) and packed up my stuff ready for the return flight. Lisa dropped my off near the coach station where they had "sky soldiers" running on an old jamma cab, so I left my mark on the Hi-score board before getting the bus to the airport. The flight was pretty bumpy and my ears were killing me by the end but I did get to see some pretty cool scenery from my window seat (I had an aisle on the way over...). M&D came and picked me up from Melbourne airport and we just vegged in front of the telly watching a DVD about the Harry Firht and his Holden Dealer Team. Lots of footage of the late, great Peter Brock in there of course.
Weather today has been all over the place but it seems like its turning out nice for the afternoon. I've managed to clear the backlog of photos from the last time I was here so I'll try and sort through the 1000 photos I took in Tassie before I shoot off and get some of those uploaded too for you all to have a gander at.
