Glad to hear that you are there safely and hope you overcome the jet lag quickly.  Very interesting time in American Politics at the moment, so don't forget to pick up the papers (Washington Post and New York Times are especially good) and start getting ready for Kent.  I hope you enjoy New York and will speak to you soon.

Glad you arrived safely - just so you know, mass on Sunday at St John's Cathedral, 112th Street (just round the corner from your hotel) - you're thurifer!!

Seriously, if you get the chance, go and visit - it is mega and was still being built when we visited NY - it is now complete. If nothing else, the bear wants to go!
