Hi Guys

Were currently at Singapore airport waiting to fly down under. Cant wait!!

It was such a long and boring train journey from Kuala Lumpur and the air con in our carriage unfortunately broke down halfway through the journey all in all about 8 hours of feeling like we were in a sauna.

We stayed in Little India (the cheapest part of Singapore) in our first dorm. It took about 2 hours of persuading to make Lou stay there, but it was our only option as the hotels are about as expensive as London.

Not the nicest place we've been, Little India was dirty, grimey and smelly. The hostal was fantastic only built last year and cleaner than most the places we've stayed at so far. We had to share a dorm with another couple but it wasn't to bad.

During the day we tok the monorail around the city and visited the Orchard road which is where all the shopping malls are. There is actually about 10 different malls the one we visited had 8 floors in all. We ended up going to the cinema and watched The Convention - worth watching if you get a chance.

Really looking forward to Oz
