The Road Trip!!!
THE ROCK
How Beatiful Ayers Rock is.... we began to see it with 200 ks still to travel. In fact we spent the next 150 ks wondering if maybe that was a different rock because we seemed to be travelling in the most bizzare and undirect route. Turned out to be The Rock though.
We watched the sunset over Ayers Rock and had a little wine as well as instant noodles. It was really beautiful.... the sunset, not noodles. We went to climb both days we were there but the climb was closed because of the wind so we walked to a waterhole and a canyon. We also went to the Olga's and took some photos. We should have spent more time there, there was alot to see and we were a bit rushed! Oh so today was the best I've ever packed the tent up. I was quick and it actually all fit in the bag for the first time. i got in the car and couldn't find my glasses to drive with. I looked everywhere through the 'way to much crap' that I bought then realised they must have been in the damn tent. So out come the bloody tent, opened it up and got them out, then packed it up and stuffed it in the boot nowhere near as nice as the first time :). I was so mad about it this morning but now I can see the funny side. So Ayers Rock is a bloody long way from anywhere but it is so worth seeing!!!!!!!!!!!!!- comments
