Well hello there my dearies, and welcome to la bella España!!!!!!!!!!! Life here is tres bien, im living in an apartment in the middle of town, a 2 minute walk from lots and lots and lots of shops, and yummy pastry shops (i will be coming home bigger than a giant turnip and poorer than the Weaslys...) But anyway, the apartment is v smart, its so strange tho, they have a maid who comes every morning during the week who cleans and does the laundry, and then Mercedes (the mum) does all the cooking, its like being in a hotel!! haha! I could get used to this... Anyway, what else is there to say... well the most confusing thing so far (apart from the fact that nobody speaks my language) is that Santiago is the name of both the dad and the son and so i have no idea who anyone is talking about!!! The food is really good actually, tho i think im quite lucky cos i was talking to Morven and she says her family have horrible food, but another weird thing is the meal times here, brekkie at about 7.30, the lunch isnt till 2.30 and then u have to wait till 9 for dinner (if ur lucky, as last night wasnt a school night we didnt eat till 10.30!!) The family are lovely though, and have really made me feel welcome. And next weekend apparently we´re all going to Santiago(sr)´s parentals for dinner (his dads 89!!!!!!) which will be a bit scary... Anyway now that u all know that im still alive im gonna go make a cup of tea and watch disney channel.. IN SPANISH, eugh!
