Up today to catch our ferry off the island at 10pm. As is becoming the norm, we had a massive rush to catch the ferry in time!You should have seen us barefooted like two packhorses struggling down the beach in the heat! Anyway wemade it, just in the nic of time! We were headed for Angra 1.5hrs , from Angra we got a taxi to the bus station with a random girl, then a 60R bus to Sao Paulo. The plan originally was to spend the night in Sao Paulo but when we arrived we decided that if we couldwe´d jump straight onto the night bus to Iguazu onthe brazilian side. The journey to sao paulo took about 7hrs then to our luck and delight we managed to hop straight onto a bus for iguazu. We boarded our pluma bus to foz du iguazu and after a brief change in some random bus station placewere onour way to foz!Brilliant! At least we were saving ourselves a nights accomodation! So we were aboard our sleeper bus to foz, a mere 16 hr journey to our destination! I slept ok tobe fair as me and sooz both had two seats each so could kind of stretch out! I decided to make use of the free blankets on the front seat and slept like a baby,only tobe woken up at about 4.30 am by the bus driver asking for his blankets back as it was the ned of his shift!ooppps!ithought they were complimentery! :o)
