omg i'm so excited i can hardly stand it. i'm waiting for my last load of laundry to get done so i can finish packing then i'm off to st louis to get on my plane in the morning! i'll be sure to take lots of pictures of becky's wedding (well, the part i'm aloud to go to anyway (:) so you can see them when i get there.

Krystal - it's great to see what you're up to. Obviously, you are settled in. When are classes/finals over? How are they going? I was glad that you at least mentioned them this time - tee hee. Have you registered for fall semester at UMKC yet? You should be able to do it on STAR. Anyway, I LOVE that you got to see Dr. Brodsky - that's really cool - did you all speak German or English? I'm thinking of you!

Krystal- Your website of your travel experiences is awesome. I work with your mom and she told me to check out your site and journals. I had an opportunity several years ago to visit Germany and France. I visited Cologne and many of the cathedrals. Simply, one of the most awesome life experiences. Your journals crack me up- I started reading at the beginning where you were lost and dragging your luggage thru town and you were making a jounal entry daily and now your are so comfortable and making entires every ten days (note to mom- she is having a blast) and traveling everywhere. Have you visited the sidewalk cafe's and enjoyed the flatbreads? I see you like the brewskies! (just kidding) Enjoy all that you can while you are there - this is an awesome opportunity that many others never get the opportunity to experience.

hey chica - 18 more days! not that i'm counting or anything :) can't wait to get there - we are totally going to berlin and if you haven't been to paris yet then we're going there too. its gonna be a FABULOUS week! oh, and i called your house the other day and told julie to have your fam get everything together that you want me to bring with me by mem. day, so if you have any requests you need to make them by that weekend. i'm so excited - see you soon!

You aren't turning into the "ugly American" are you? LOL! I'm glad you're in search of Germans to talk with - you are right on track with wanting to make German friends. Too bad about the roomie - maybe you should hang with your friend's roommate now and then. Also, don't forget that you have that health insurance for a reason - it might be good to get your ankle checked out. I had a similar problem when I traveled and they gave me some ibuprophen type of cream that helped a lot. They also told me to stretch and lose weight - hard to do when beer is cheaper than water! Finals end on Friday here at UMKC and graduation is this Saturday. Anyway, thanks for keeping in touch.

Hope you enjoyed your travels this past weekend and your holiday. We are now in storm season....the last storm ripped off the siding on the fireplace wall side .....fixed now and ready for the next storm.......hope your travels take you to Paris....let's talk....Amanda and I going back to see Laura Ingels house in Mansfield with the twins on Friday and Saturday....will be back on Sunday....hope to catch you on the computer....everyone wants to come over so they can see you!
