hello everyone!!!!! sorry it has taken me so long to get any entries on the journal.....................river valley is in the middle of nowhere and thus internet is extremely bad!!!! well what can i say? ..................nearly three months on and im still in new zealand! that must give you some idea of how good a time im having!!!!! i've been working in river valley a white water rafting lodge (see previous journal entries..........i came here for a night whilst on the kiwi bus!)..............anyway i have been working as a slave!!! yep thats right!.........we even have shirts with slave printed on the back!! .......its pretty cool !!! ha ha! i am in the kitchen doing all kinds of kitchen stuff........but im soooo great at it they made me 'queen of the slaves'!! i have a flashing tiara and everything!!! its sooo much fun working here and all the people are great! when im not working im chilling out in the day (not much to do here!!!).........................and drinking at night!!!! its a bit of a party lodge as the kiwi bus stops here most nights!!! its fun though as all the staff are like a little family here and we have some awesome nights getting drunk!!! (just had the equivalent of FA cup but for rugby here and i ended wearing my red bikini over my black clothes in support for the winning team.......the crusaders!!!! .........do you think i could have done that sober??!!!)............. some nights we do just quietly watch movies in our pj's.....(only if there's no bus of course!!!) i have done quite a bit of rafting which is great!!! (still have to try and get my photos on here for you!!!) have been lucky enough to go down the river just me and alex (dont worry he's a raft guide so he knows what he's doing!). it was so much more fun than the big rafts as you know its all down to you to survive!!.............plus you get bounced around alot more!!!! have also been horse trekking and even got up to a canter today!!............not actually my choice!!!!! anyway im going to do a bit more in the two weeks before i leave so should be getting more comfortable at it!!! well...................june 15th im flying to oz to find tiffany and who knows what will happen from then on??!!!............looking forward to it though.............should be plenty of stuff to report again soon!!!!!!!!! take care love kristy xxxx
