Left Rome and headed on a long day of bus driving to Venice. Arrived in the early evening and headed straight to check into the hotel. It was a really nice one only a 10 minute bus ride into the Venice island. Had an early / boring night doing some much needed washing after dinner and headed to bed. Switzerland put on it's best weather when it was time to depart Mt Rigi in the early morning. There was a thunderstorm during the night so when it was time to walk down to the cog rail line ther views form the top of the mountain was incredible. An early morning rise and we were on the road again. After a short stop at Fragonard for a perfume tour we continued the incredibly amazing drive along the Mediterranean towards Mt Rigi in Switzerland.
