Arrived in Amsterdam! Had a blowout lunch and have been living it cheap on bread and cheese since!
It has been days of walking - blistered feet as a result. On foot we ventured the south of the city seeing:
Concert hall, vondelpark, museumplein (van gogh and rijks museum), stadsschouwburg, Leidseplein, spui, koningsplein, muntplein, Rembrandt plein, waterlooplein, hermitage centre, skinny bridge, Frederiksplein, heineken, westerkerk, noorderkerk, jordaan and the boho de pjip area.
Having done centrum the rest of time is being spent in the sun in vondelpark watching endless moving circuits of cyclists and rollerblading.
Spending our last day with minimal walking due to the return of the backpacks! Anticipating the oncoming experience of a 12 hour night train to Berlin this evening
