I just saw a vanity plate with a skull and crossbones stating "US army, mess with the best, die with the rest." that makes me think our entire country is thought of like pirates which may actually be the most true thing I have heard in quite a while.

Besides that, Nicaragua is very nice. The women are fine, the weather is beautiful and the food is magnificent. Plenty of avocado to go around and the beef with the homemade tortillas is more then anyone could ask for.
There is a slight safety concern though... The inner city is run down with aluminum shanty shacks and petty crime is rather high all over Managua.
We went to dinner downtown and I noticed however scary this place may be it is very surreal and beautiful as well. There are roman type statues with Hispanic influence on every circle connection drive. There has to be a ton of money sitting here in the government.
Dinner was great.. Ceviche (raw fish with citrus to kill the bacteria) and avocado salad. I can't get enough of the fresh giant avocado and local rum here so I'm on my way to the store to buy more.
