Packing is completed. I used my trusty zipper packing cubes from Eagle Creek and rolled everything up tightly before wedging it in the bags. It all just barely fits. The challenge was bringing clothes for a temperature range of 35-75 and figuring out what to bring for the wedding that wouldn't need to be ironed. I've been having a lot of fun playing around with the different photo apps on my iPad. My favorite app is called Snapseed and once you import a photo from your photo library it can be manipulated in a variety of interesting ways. The photo of my kitty is done with the "drama" setting which changes the lights and darks in a photo to create a dramatic mood. I am really looking forward to the photographic opportunities in Israel and Turkey. Another nifty thing I discovered yesterday was a connector which plugs into the charging port of the iPad and accepts my camera's memory card. Very smooth way to import photos on the go.

Julie W.-S. Very nice, madame. It was fun to hear your voice the other day. I meant to tell you that we're going to be in San Diego next Nov. for a week. I didn't know if we could find some way to connect. :)
Arlene Wonderful, Kayer. Looking forward to following you on your travels! Have fun! AB
