Hello from Argentina!!
Just thought Id write quick one for the Falls, as they definatly deserve a blog of there own!
SO!
Firstly we saw the falls from the Brazilian side, so we left San Paulo on a 17 hour bus journey down to Foz which was exhausting! Finally arrived in Foz at a lovely hostel and went to see the falls that day. So lovely...and very wet! They are the first lot of photos of falls in the album I just added. We got to see the veiw of the entire thing, it was so awesome, and very very wet! Im suprised my camera didnt break! But yes, very beautiful, but abit annoying as the weather was so cloudy but it was still sweltering, 47 deggrees! Never sweated so much in my life!!!
So anyway to reward ourseleves, we went tot he most amazing pizza place ever after, 13 riass (About 4 quid) all you can eat Pizza, chips, chicken wings and ice cream.
Need I say more!
Next day we left Brazil......sob sob! Crossed the border and headed to Puerto Igazu - the Argentinian side! Stayed in a hostel called Hostel Inn, which is like a palace, never seen a hostel more hotel like ever! Huge pool, massive Lobby, huge hostel, had our own little Bungalow!! We rested that night to prepare ourselevs for the falls the next day.
Oh.
My.
God.
So we went to the falls that next morning, i have never seen anything so beautiful in my whole entire life. It was breathtaking - so much better than the Brazilian side, the photos dont even do it Justice. So much wildlife to, racoons, stunning butterflies, crocodiles! It was amazing, we saw a rainbow in the falls!!! so cool! I cant even describe it, the first one we saw was just riducilous, massive drop just down into white mist and nothingness! It was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone must see it!!!!!!
I would go into more detail to describe its incredibleness, but you just have to look at the photos, and imagion it like 100000 million times bigger and better and even more stunning! It was the most beautiful day too - couldnt have asked for more!
The night we got back was so much fun to - big bbq at the hostel, then a Brazilian show! Out of a crowd of 150 about 10 of us girls got pulled up to learn samba infront of everyone one, and then i got pulled up infront of everyone to do stuff on my own, i think i added a picture of it, so typical! But funny, and i got a massive cheer, yay!!!
So then the next day we chilled by the pool, and then got a bus to party town, Beunos Aries!! Which Ive fallen in love with in a day, very cosmopoliton, and weve hardly even seen any of it yet, we arrived at 10 ths morning and headed straight to the shopping centre so sian could go to a kosher mcdonalds!! First meat shes had in 5 weeks!! The bus journey to get here was first class, argentinian buss RULE!!! We were treated like first class on a plane, reclinable seats back into beds, only 20 seats on the bus. Champagne, Tea and biscuits, coffee and drinks 24/7, dinner, hot foot, breakfast, abuot 5 films! So a 20 hour bus journey flew by, isd go by bus here over a train anyday!!!
Anyway - in BA now and its going to be another crazy party week, and weve met up with some irish boys we met on Ilha Grande already! WE are in an even more amazing hostel now, very posh, artsy and modern, for 38 pecos, so like 7 quid a nigth, its riduclous!!
so....Im off to party, eat steak and drink red wine!
Speak Soon!
