Hi and welcome.

This is our very first "baby" blog ....

We are about ready to depart and we´we almost succeded in getting everything ready for our internship abroad, only a few errands are left to run ..... in about 6 days, we will be waving goodbye to family and friends at Copenhagen Airport and flying to Kenya where we will be staying on a global platform (a farm) near Nakuru ....it is said to be located in a incredibly beautiful area in the foothills of Mount Kenya ... these first 6-7 days in Kenya we will recieve info, attend classes in Swahili and social science and acclimatize :0)

Our internship destination is Uganda on Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria District, specifically Bugala Island and the town Kalanga .. Our internship placement is Kalangala Hospital witch includes a maternity ward, a children´s ward, a surgery ward, and an open HIV/AIDS clinic .. Super exciting and challenging.

We are both extremely exited and also a bit nervous .. but we´re looking forward to many great experiences.
