I am on the road again! In order to get to Wanaka from Waimate I had to come to Ashburton first. Yesterday I left my host family and took the bus to Ashburton and I spent the night at Ramblers Rest. It's a really nice hostel but there aren't many people staying right now, so I'm glade I'm only a "one nighter". My bus leaves for Wanaka at 9:50am today. Yesterday my roommate and I did a long walk along the river. There were so many beautiful rocks! I wanted to take them all home! The weather was crazy. It was beautiful for our walk but it hailed while it was still sunny. ( no rainbow though) When I was packing for New Zealand I forgot to bring a day backpack, duuh! I guess I'll have to buy one somewhere. Hoping I'll find someone to travel with in Wanaka over these next few days. I need to start heading north along the west coast! Time is going so quickly, I can't believe I've been here a month exactly! I know that's brief but life is about to get adventurous again. Wwoofing and house sitting we're great but nothing to exciting to tell. I have to shower, eat and catch the bus!
