While Dublin provided an enjoyable time of relaxing, tasting a true Guinness at the Guinness Brewery, and listening to live, traditional music in an old Irish pub, I absolutely love Galway. This morning Steph and I hopped on our first of many European trains to travel the 3 hour journey from Dublin to Galway. It was a wonderful ride as we watched the beautiful scenery pass us out the window. The lush, green countryside is a welcomed change from dusty Kenya. After a few days in the gloomy, rainy Dublin weather, the sunshine and blue skies in Galway made for an enjoyable afternoon today. So far we strolled the cobblestone streets and ate lunch outside while people watching.
Hostel life is becoming the norm. I love to hear the many different languages being spoken around me and it's always fun to meet new people. We have met people from Germany, France, Spain and Israel.
My time has run out on the computer... I will be sure to write more later.
Cheers,
Kristin
