Day 3

Spent 2 nights/ 1 day in Miami Beach. 35 degrees and sunny! Only problem is we only have hiking gear! Knackered from the flight so we spent the day lazing around the beach and mainly trying to find a tree to get out of the sun! Yesterday was another long day. Up at 4am to get the flight to Lima (via Bogota in Columbia) We both arrived safetly however, my keyring cat ginger and one of Steve´s key rings mysteriously went missing between the time we checkd our bags in in the USA and arriving in Lima! So Jo.. I´m sorry but Ginger didn´t even make it to South America. Taxi ride from Lima airport was a bit hairy it appears there are no road rules and cars and buses were tooting each other constantantly and weaving in and out. We´re in Lima for 10 days before our tour starts so I think we´re going to find somewhere to have some Spanish lessons.
