Quick update from Scott. We got into London a couple of days ago. Our first day here we just took it easy. I had a couple pints of Ale from the Pub downstairs and some real English Fish n Chips. After that I think I fell asleep around 6:00 PM London time and pretty much slept the entire evening and night. We got up the next day (yesterday) and started seeing some London sights. We saw the changing of the Horse Guards, walked thru St. James Park, saw Buckingham Palace, walked past Picadilly Circus, thru Chinatown, to St Paul Cathedral. The Cathedral was impressive inside, unfortunately they would not let us take photos. I climbed the 500+ steps to the top of the tower and was able to get pictures of the London skyline. On my way up I saw they had a massive bank of organ pipes and thought "it would be really cool to hear the pipe organ fire up". After I came back down from the tower they started to play the pipe organ for a bit. If you think pipe organs are neat.....it really was cool. So Kelly and I sat under the 365 ft tall dome and listened to the organ for a bit. I wish they played it longer, but they only played it off and on for about 1/2 hour. We stayed at the cathedral to hear the Choir sing for a bit then started walking to the London Tower Bridge (this is what most people, myself included, always thought was the London bridge). We walked to the bridge, saw the London Tower, then got another cab ride back to the hotel. Long day. More to come.
