We finished kangaroo island today. Lots of fun. We started the morning at Reeves point where the first settlers lived in south Australia. We then went to seal bay on the south of the island and watched the austrAlian sea lions play on the shore. Many of them were basking on the sand. They gotosea for three days and gorge themselves, then come back and sleep for three days. There were a few pups hanging outwaiting for their mums to come back. They were play fighting. We then headed up and had lunch in the bush. The tour company owns a bunch of land so we went out looking for koalas. We saw 19! It was a record. We then went to shoals bay and had to walk through a very tightrock passage tocome onto a verypicturesque beach. Finally to round out the day we went wallaby hunting in the bush. Picture hunting that is! Mom almost died as we hikedintoa valleyand then back out and her asthma flaired up. We caught our tiny plane out and back to Adelaide for the night. We stayed in a very nice hotel and got up at the crack of dawn to get to the airport. We are flying on to Port Douglas today. Snorkeling the reef tomorrow. I really enjoyed KI, buti'm glad to be moving on.

The Bodey-Phillips Family Of course, Jason was most interested in the pictures of the granite on KI and the minerals at the museum! I'm excited to hear about snorkeling!
