Today we flew from las Vegas to Los Angeles n took a shuttle to get to hollywood. After checking we caught a train to the main street of Hollywood where we saw the stars walk of fame, where all the stars names r on the footpath. We also saw the hand prints outside the Chinese theatre. The Chinese theatre is where the oscars is held. For our last full day we decided to hire mustang convertibles n drive our to Hoover dam. Thanks to budget car hire we didn't get the cars when we were meant to, a long story with frustration. Eventually we were on our way with wind in our faces, hair flying everywhere (not ken). The traffic to Hoover dam was crazy n security is tight with cars checked before u get to the dam. yesterday we travelled from ny to lv. after getting up early n then a six hour flight we were all pretty tired n pleased to reach our hotel room. today we started the day with a buffet breakfast at our htel. the kids loved the idea of dessert for breakfast. we then walked the strip checking out all the hotels. ur favourites were the bellagio for an amazing plant n flower display with a christmas theme n also the venetian with a ice skating rink out the front...

no snow in new york, looks like we dont get our white christmas. had a sleep in this morning then off to the empire state building. great views n alittle chilly up that high. also did some shopping, then we went to the air n sea museum to see the uss intrepid n the submarine. that was another good tour n the kids especially loved the submarine. good to know the usa food hasnt affected us we were able to fit through the hatches. tonight we had a lovely dinne...
