Hey everyone. Bay of islands was really beautiful. I went without jo because she couldn't afford to do it when i went. But i am meeting up with someone in auckland this afternoon, jo has gone to bay of islands today. I went for a drink with her last night when i got back (several drinks actually so feeling a bit rough today), and another girl called gemma from our room. Jo will be back in auckland on saturday. I did think that i woudn't cope being on my own but its not that bad, and we have been living in each others pockets for 3 months so a break isn't going to hurt us.

Yesterday i went for a 2 hour walk along the coast in bay of islands. Paihia where i stayed is on the mainland but there are 144 islands in the bay which i could have visited but after the disaster with the dolphins i didn't fancy getting on another boat. And i saved some money aswell.

My standing order came in on the 6th, i think it took so long because of the bank holiday at home. So i have money but trying not to spend it too quickly.

Because we cross the date line, going to the cook islands, we have to pay for our accomodation for the night of may 12th twice. How much does that suck. It's because we land in rarotonga at 1am.

Debbie, i'm very proud that you have been strimming. Maybe someone will buy you a lawnmower for your birthday.
