Woke up for our last morning in Canberra. Had the whole day to do stuff but funnily enough we just ended up sitting in the hostel again chatting to folk. There was Samantha and Tony (the Irish cousins), the Tazzy boys (Arron, Brady and Jono), one of the Irish boys whos name I cant remember and 2 boys from the Gold Coast whos names i also cant remember!

Bit scared that me and Beccy didnt have anywhere to stay in Melbourne yet, especially as I am running seriously low on the old cash. But i'd remembered last nite that mum had send me the phone numbers of my dads pal and his wife (Alec and Theresa) in Melbourne, so I phoned my dad to ask if he thought it would be ok to fone them and ask if i could crash on their sofa for a few days. He said i might as well try as the worst they can do is say no. So i tried phoning them and didnt get through so just thought i'd send a wee txt to say i was heading down if we could meet up at some point. Then Theresa phoned me back and asked when we were arriving and where we were staying, which i was so grateful for u wouldnt believe it! And she even said Beccy could stay as well and she would pick us up from the bus station when we got in! Cant believe that someone i've never met could be so nice!

Eventually left the hostel which was kind of sad saying bye to everyone. We got to the bus station quite early and then had to wait even longer as our bus was delayed cause it had broken down outside of Sydney. Ended up phoning home for a wee bit of a chat as I'd nothing else to do. Did eventually manage to get our bus and pretty much slept most of the way. Did hav to change buses in the middle of nowhere which was a bit gutting as I had to wake up, however i did manage to get back to sleep and slept pretty much on and off til Melbourne.
