Dearest darling Kirsty, Thank you very much for the lovely card which you sent to us via your Mum and Dad which we were delighted to receive. In fact Nanny and I have been keeping a close eye on your progress through your Journal and message boards, and we have a lovely 100% copy of your photograph, taken when you were preparing to leave, all dressed in your travelling gear ! How brave and lovely you look! We have been delighted to see how well you are getting on , and as for apple picking, well there is no heavier work than that , and you did exceptionally well to pick so many on your first day. but do go easy and not overdo it , darling. It does become easier as you get used to it ! (Nan says she has done a lot of apple picking and knows all about it ) Just think, we shall soon have New Zealand apples in Waitrose, and we might even buy some apples that Kirsty picked ! We shall continue to watch your progress with keen interest , and hope that all will continue well with you. If you could send us any spare rain that you might have, we should be very grateful for we are in desperate drought at the moment in these parts !

We're having drinks & Chinese with your ma and pa this evening and planning our little holiday - only Spain - not quite as glam as your trip but hopefully some sunshine all the same. All well ready for it!
Keep the lovely pictures coming. Aunt Tessa is in NZ at the mo, so keep asking around for the mad english lady who goes hunting and loves getting her hands dirty and you'll have found her! Don't think she will be looking as glam as she did at the wedding though! Would be such a hoot if you two did bump into each other!

Hey you, nice pictures. Can you put yourself in front of some of those buildings?...or did you get too sunburnt in Fiji x Good to speak to you the other night, sounds like you are having fun. I'm at work and haven't flown for 2 weeks now, the weather is so bad. Dave (sir) if you are reading this then I am not spending all the taxpayers money writing to kirsty whilst at work. I promise.
