Hello Everyone. I thought it was about time I wrote my final Journal entry to you all. As you know I unfortunately spent my last few days in Oz in Hospital after developing an abscess on my neck. Obvioulsy i was very disappointed but i was well looked after and im much much better now. After that i decided it was best for me to come home because i would have been very limited in what i could do and also i felt that i needed to see all my friends and family again. Before i went to hospital I went on a 3 day camping trip to Fraser Island. It is the largest sand island in the world and we hired a 4WD to drive around it. We drove right on the beach and through rainforest and visited a place called Lake Mckenzie which is like paradise and Indians head which has the best views ever! In the evenings we camped on the beach and had partys with the other groups which was great fun. The people in my group were brilliant. We all got on so well together and when it came to cooking and setting up the camp site everyone got stuck in. All in all it was an excellent trip and looking back, a great way to end my travels. Over the last few months i have just had the time of my life. I have done and seen so many amazing things and met some brilliant people and now i cant wait to see all of my friends and family from back home to drive you all mad with all my stories!! So get in touch and we can hopefully meet up soon. I would just like to say a sincere thank you to Tim, Jo and Ben for looking after me and really helping me to find my feet in those first few weeks. Rosemary and Max, Lovely people who also looked after me and took me to some amazing places. I had so much fun. Helen,Alistair,Kieran and Anna thankyou for letting me stay with you for the night. I had a lovely time getting to know you. I only wish we could have had longer. and of course Michael and Julia. The family that up until a few weeks ago i didnt even know i have but who i feel priveliged to be related to. Thankyou for everything. All of these people made my trip so special and im forever grateful. Id also like to thank all of my friends and family from back home for keeping in touch with me over these last few months. I have loved reading all of your messages and i cant wait to see you all soon. So this is me signing off for the last time...until my next adventures! I love you all very much. From Kirsty xxx
