hey guys!! i did try to add all what i'm about to write the other day but as always something went wrong! so we arrived in ko pa ngan about a wek ago ready for the full moon party that was on sunday...a lot has happened since we arrived dont know where to start!! we prefr it here to ko samui, the beach is nice and its full of westerners (dont think theres anyone here over 25 which is nice for a while!!) we met up with some people we met on a boat somewhere else and had a nice few days going to the beach in the day and going out at night...its nice in the evening cos everyone goes down to the bars on the beach and hangs out there. now to the interesting part of our time in ko pa ngan....on our second night here we were leaving the beach when i fell in a hole in the sand....so currently my foot is all bandaged up!! although i've got rid of the crutches and am on less painkillers!! after i fell within about 5 seconds there was a lump the size of a ping pong ball on my fot so george and zan had to carry me to the hospital (then some nice taxi man took us the rest of the way for free ) they tried to drain it with a needle eeeeuuurrrrrgggh and gave me lots of piankillers to get on with, that was all fine til it was time to leave and me none of had the 3000 baht needed to pay! we couldnt get to our money til 9am the next mornin cos all our stuff was locked in the safety deposit thing in the hotel!! so george (who we'd know for precisely 24 hours) had to go off weith some dodgy bloke on a moped and lend me the money!! so we spent the next day getting zan and george bambo tattoos...i was v happy cos i got to sit down all day (I had the oldest crutches ever that hurt me more than my foot!) check out the pics ther tats are nice! i decided against it as i had enough to deal with!! the next day there was a massive storm and all the electricity wenty off...just in time for the england match ahah there wer lots of angry chaps about, it was ok it came back on in a few places so no brawls this time!! by the time it was the full moon party the island was absolutley packed...i didnt really need my bcrutches and i stayed off the crazy strong painkillers for the day (if i had taken what the doc told me i would have taken 8 a day!) so i could have a drink...well bucket they dont sell anything less than that. we had a wicked time dancing all night (with regular stops for me to sit and rest!)it was unbelievably busy thousands of people come to the beach for the full moon. it was a bit dodge with all the wasters passed out face down on the beach (especially girls on their own...where are their mates!?!) zan and i stuck together cos of all the stories we'd heard about it but lost everyone else we went with pretty damn quick! we sat and watched the sunruise, had one more little dance, some brekkie then sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!! i dont have any photos of it right now - we bought a disposable camera cos i was to scared someone would nick mine! we had w wicked time here cos we met up with so many people we met along the way from malaysia and the other islands, and its the type of place where we bumped into them all the time. i thought it would be too busy and we wouldnt see them again but i was wrong!! we went up to this really nice bar up on some rocks at the end of the beach which was real nice cos it had a lush breeze and you could sit and watch the madness down on the beach. we chilled out for the next 2 days watching as the numbers dwindle from the island, luckily we found this place called lazy bar that suited us fine!! we spent loads of time there..it was so nice with low lighting and bean bags and cusions everywhere and we just lay there watching films! ...we're now on ko tao. ko tao is another island just further north, we came with george and met up with andy, gabriel, and andrea we met in ko pa ngan. its a bit more chilled here, we've got a nice bungalow (that looks like a bombs hit it cos us 3 are so messy) near the beach which is deserted and we went for dinner on a restaurant you go across a dodgy pier to and its in the sea. me george n zan went ona snorkelling treip round the island yesterday while the others stayed and did nothing!! it was pretty cool....it was nice to actually be doing something rather than sitting on the beach waiting to go out at night! we saw some fich and a shark and some real nice beaches. and stopped off at these two island joined by a strip of sand...unfortunatley there no pics yet cos it wont work here. so we're off to bangkok tomorrow....so this is out last real day in nice thailand cos bangkok is meant to be really stinky. and our last day with george who we feel like we've known for ages! so as i write this im looking out the door to the lovely beach so i better go enjoy while i can!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
