Hi guys :)

Well I've done quite a bit since my last blog... I stayed in Kuta for a few days before heading off to Gili Trawangan (which I was super excited about) - turned out to be a bit of a let-down to be honest, didn't enjoy the island much and got really sick (still suffering 7 days later!!!) but whilst there I did my Advanced diving course - 5 days over the course of 2 days, including a night dive and a wreck dive! This was the absolute highlight of Indonesia - well, along with Ijen - but I got to dive with gorgeous sea turtles, sharks, colourful stingrays and phospherscence (sp?)! My dive instructor was fab too and I felt heaps more confident in the water when I was done with the course! After 4/5 days in Gili T, I headed back to Kuta and got myself a massive room in the same hotel I was in before (Taman Ayu II - I'd recommend it to anyone!)... also Kun & Tina (the couple from my last blog) were back so I spent a few days with them just laying on the beach watching the hunky (and some decidedly un-hunky) men surfing! :) Definately the good life & so my trip to Indo ended on a high!!

Flew into Oz last night, well I got here this morning and I've fallen in love with Sydney a lot faster than I expected... braveheart that I am took myself off for a walk first thing to explore and ended up sat in a massive (and almost empty at that time of the morning) cinema watching Eclipse :) haha - bit sad really, aren't I? Felt pretty confident walking around here, fairly easy to navigate - only thing was I was still wearing my flip flops and baggy, linen trousers whilst everyone else was wrapped up like they were expecting snow haha! Quick change back at the hostel before I headed back out to explore the other direction and look for the aquarium, which I found but didn't go in today - Darling Harbour is beautiful, lovely place to just sit and chill out (literally - it's winter here) for a bit!!

Checked into my 32 bed dorm room now, haha - there's a evening trip to a pub later with BBQ included... so may find myself going there :) free drinks for girls - what more could I ask?
